Desperate eyes you see they're looking out at the scattering of rain drops on her window pane. All alone they search the horizon the greyness rolling in, inside her mind. The sirens flashing in the distance warn her she will soon forget all her pain. She tried to leave it all behind the anger she would hide. Silently she wept inside her mind. Her smile had faded away the memories they'd replay. "So young and full of life" they would say. Desperate eyes, you see there calling out. She couldn't get any help from above.
